Cruise Reviews

The trip was absolutely perfect.  The views were breathtaking and great weather seemed to follow us every step of the journey.  Thank you so much for all the work you put into planning it for us.  Everything went according to clockwork.  There were no problems and each transition time was smooth and so well organized.  This was indeed a trip of a lifetime.  Everything was perfect from whale watching, riding scooters in Skagway, riding the train, seeing Denali peak through the clouds... to dog sledding.  We even went to the North Pole and saw Santa.

Thanks again!  Your help, advice and hard work made our trip extraordinary!!! - Annie & Mark Davis, Julie & Dan Henderson, and Norma & Mark Honeycutt

Having fun with friends aboard the Carnival Fantasy - 5 day cruise our of Charleston. - Sharon E. 2016

This is our very first cruise. So I thought maybe I will share the experience of booking the cruise for the very first time and without knowing squat about cruising. In the beginning we had many questions, so naturally we visited a travel agent. All About Cruises in Burlington NC helped us out tremendously and answered a lot of questions.

Booking through a travel agent did not save us any money, at least not at first. It also did not cost any extra, the fair was the same as it was on Royal Caribbean's website. But there were major benefits with booking through a travel agency and utilizing their vast experience. READ MORE!

Yes, prop your feet up on your favorite cruise ship..Enjoy the islands, the palm trees and the beautiful sunsets aboard the Carnival Conquest. A wonderful six day voyage to the western Caribbean.

A different little cutie to greet you every night in your stateroom!

Our family of 4 went on a Southern Caribbean Cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico in August 2014, to St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Barbadoes!  So far the best out of the 3 cruises we have taken.  Every island was beautiful!! We zip-lined in St. Thomas, took a Catamaran and Sea Turtle Snorkel Adventure in Barbados where we swam with lots of sea turtles which was an experience of a lifetime!  In St. Lucia we did a plantation leadning adventure and a volcanic mudbath!  In St. Maarten we decided to do a beach day where the waters were gorgeous and relaxing!  St. Kitts was also a beach day and was breathtaking as well.  We went through Sharon at All About Cruises, Burlington, nC for 4 of our cruises so far and will continue to in the future, love her!!  Looking forward to our Aug. 2015 Southern Caribbean Cruise, already booked! - Brenda

Awesome 5 day Cruise on the Carnival Fantasy Ship to Freeport and Nassau (Bahamas)!!

My two sons Randy, Alex and I had an awesome time on the Fantasy ship.  Great entertainment and food all the time, wonderful Playlist Productions and fantastic DAT BAND.  Staff members called us by name. The ship was beautiful with colorful décor. The room had lots of storage space with easy to use room safe.  Excursion on the Glass Bottom Boat was great feeding the fish and sharks.  Ready to book next trip!!!!!!  - Lisa

Driving in unknown areas is no fun.  Making hotel reservations in sightseeing areas can be troublesome.  Where to eat is a hard decision.  Do you know the "story behind the story" or those interesting tidbits of information about where you are or what you're seeing?

Seven friends took the Northern California 2013 tour and it was one of the most carefree vacations we've had!  We had guided tours and some meals together as a group, but also had time to ourselves to enjoy our own interests.  Our guide always gave places to visit and restaurant suggestions when on our own.  Our hotels were within walking distance of interesting sights or the bus would pick us  up at a designated place and time for the return to our hotel.

We had lunch on a train as it traveled through Napa wine country, a relaxing wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres on the patio of a vineyard followed by an owner-guided tour of the vineyards and explanations of the wine-making process.  All this culminated in a delicious dinner complete with those wines.  We toured vegetable farms in Salinas (the "salad bowl" of the world) and enjoyed tastings at the end.  We had dinner on a ferry as it sailed around Lake Tahoe.  The last stop on our tour of San Francisco's China Town was the Empress of China Restaurant where we were treated to a five course meal!  Pebble Beach, the 17-Mile Drive, Napa Valley, and the Big Sur Highway provided incredibly beautiful sightseeing.  Options such as a hot air balloon ride, a visit to the famed Monterey Aquarium, and a walk across the Golden Gate Bridge were there for our enjoyment--and we enjoyed it all!  Walking among the redwoods in the cool, peaceful quiet of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park was a calming time.

When an early snow closed the road into Yosemite Park, alternate arrangements for food, lodging, and sightseeing were handled by our guide.  We couldn't have made those arrangements so quickly on our own.

Our rest stops were in interesting places such as the Sacramento Capital Building, a vegetable market, and visiting the boutique shops in Sausalito where we also enjoyed local cheeses.  These stops were clean, interesting, and enjoyable in themselves.

So, take the comfortable bus, relax, enjoy, and leave all the planning to Trafalgar!  - Mickey and Kay

FOR MY FIRST CRUISE - I CHOSE ALASKA! Thank you All About Cruises, and especially Trish Lynch, for arranging a great cruise for me and my mom.  The staff onboard the Sapphire Princess treated us like royalty and the food was delicious!  The weather was beautiful and so was the scenery.  It is absolutely breath-taking.  Also, seeing the wildlife and learning about our forty-ninth state was awesome.  Everywhere we went, the people were very friendly and more than willing to share their past experiences in Alaska with us.  The tour guides were great also!  Our adventures began in Fairbanks, AK and ended in Vancouver, Canada.  Along the way we toured Denali National Park, the inside passage glaciers, and the towns of Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.  We saw wildlife everywhere.  I can't begin to describe how much fun mom and I had together.  We made wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.  For anyone thinking about taking a cruise, I recommend Alaska.  I will definitely go back again! - Carol, Mebane, NC

Well you did it again. What a beautiful and unforgettable time we had cruising on the beautiful Carnival Freedom again. You always bring us home from our trips with such memories. You recommended the Freedom when she sailed to Italy and it was great to be on her again.

As always you and All About Cruises in Burlington went beyond what is required to give your clients the best vacation ever that are never forgotten.

I have enclosed a few photos from the colorful and beautiful inland of Curacao. As you see the sun going down behind the Freedom is breathtaking. Curacao with its colorful building and charm was wonderful. After returning to the ship I just had to get back off and walk to town just to see it as the sun was setting and the city lights were coming on. On my way back to the ship I was lucky enough to get the picture of the sun ending another beautiful day. WOW!

To anyone thinking about taking a cruise there is no finer or dedicated person than you are at ALL ABOUT CRUISES to help make the memories of a life time as you have done for Velma and me for the past 25 years or so.

Thank you for the memories and all your hard work to bring them to life.  - Michael and Velma, Greensboro, NC

Just wanted to thank-you for the suggestion of upgrading to the Balcony Suite, It was the nicest cruise accomodations we've ever had on a cruise. The jacuzzi tub was awesome as well as the large room and balcony.
Although the ship had been refurbished it was still spectacular and since it was our 1 year anniversary and my 40th birthday we managed to get the photographers to take a special sunset photo of us. The VIP check in was awesome and we had a very memorable time.
Thanks again. - Beth and Joe
